Who We Are

We are the Diabetes Association Inc. (DAI) – an independent, community-based, non-profit organization serving the Greater Fall River and New Bedford communities, providing programs for local people of all ages with diabetes and those who care for them.

DAI also addresses the threat of diabetes across all generations by offering prevention programs in schools, workplaces, house of worship and any place where people gather. We are happy to provide speaking engagements for anyone in our service area.

What We Do

The Diabetes Association Inc. helps children with Type 1 (Juvenile) Diabetes and their families cope with the physical, social, emotional and psychological aspects of this incurable disease. DAI’s premiere program is Camp Kyle T. Woodruff for Children with Diabetes.
