Membership
Your membership to DAI allows us to provide services to the Greater New Bedford and Fall River areas. Our programs include programs to help control and manage Type 1 and Type 2 Diabetes, Prevention of Type 2 Diabetes in children and adults, and Camp Kyle T. Woodruff for Children with Diabetes, our premiere program. In 2005:
- 75 children and teens with diabetes attended Camp Kyle for Children with Diabetes.
- Schools throughout the region obtained diabetes supplies, classroom presentation, and in-service training for school personnel to normalize and safeguard the school experience of their students with diabetes.
- Over 150 adults participated in Ask a Dietitian, Ask a Diabetes Expert and Diabetes on the Road at our center and throughout the community.
- Each month, approximately 45 people drop-in to the Diabetes Self-Management & Prevention Center at 170 Pleasant Street in Fall River, Ma.
- 360 families benefit from our Youth Programs.

Donations
If you would like to become a member or make a donation, please download and print our membership brochure. Be sure to ask if your employer has a matching gift program! Donations can be mailed to Diabetes Association Inc., P.O. Box 1525, Fall River, MA 02722
Donations can also be made through the United Way. Our ID # is 422588.

A contribution of any size helps DAI to pay the increasing price of postage, offer a week at Camp Kyle free-of-charge to a child with diabetes, or provide medication to a family without health insurance.
