Executive Director

The Diabetes Association Inc. (DAI), a small non-profit organization known for operating Camp Kyle T. Woodruff for Children with Diabetes, and for providing high quality diabetes related education and support services to residents of Southeastern Massachusetts, is seeking a talented Executive Director.

Under the direction of the Board of Directors, the Executive Director will oversee the planning and implementation of all programs and policies, while creating and adhering to the budget, implementing cost saving initiatives, researching and applying for new funding, training and managing the staff, and making a significant contribution towards building a cohesive team. We are seeking an energetic leader with administrative experience, a participative management style, demonstrated financial management skills, and an enthusiasm for the mission of the DAI.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree plus a minimum of 5 years of related experience and/or further education in management, fund raising, grant/contract writing, or public health. Applicants must demonstrate strong interpersonal and leadership skills, and experience with financial management.
